My First Knitcrate - A Rreview

KNITCRATE

is a treat for all knitters & crocheters out there! If you haven't heard of Knitcrate before then you should definitely continue reading and learn more about it!

Full disclosure: This post contains affiliate links, meaning your clicks and purchases earn me a small commission if you click it and order your crate. However, this commission is not the intent of this review. I am motivated to share a resource that I feel may help you and I only align myself with brands I know and like.

Knitcrate is a monthly yarn subscription of curated projects paired with some luscious yarn, delivered straight to your doorstep every month! KnitCrate provides you with two hanks of hand dyed yarn (in a surprise colorway) along with a knit and crochet pattern.

Each month, a theme is selected. In May's crate for example – the theme was “Contemporary” and the yarn chosen was La Brebis a yarn that celebrates the beauty of natural fiber. Each skein of Marled Sock is 440 yards making it a generous amount to work with! The yarn is honestly my favorite part about the crate.

With your KnitCrate membership you will receive two patterns along your crate, a knit pattern and a crochet pattern. I am currently working up the knitting pattern from May's crate and I am loving it! The hardest part this month was to choose whether to use the yarn for the knit or crochet project!

The May patterns were perfectly suited to this yarn, creating  two lightweight fabrics that you’ll love. Daxis, a triangular scarf created by designer Pariser Landluft has a geometric texture; is a classic wrap. The pattern works up really quickly and is so fun!

The crochet pattern is a Cabled Clutch by designer Marie Segares of The Underground Crafter. She created this clutch perfect for keeping your patterns, notions!  It features front post crochet cables and all-over texture!

The KnitCrate membership comes at an incredible value. When you sign up for your KnitCrate membership you’ll pay $24.99 on the first of every month and receive your crate (with all of the goodies described above) by the 15th. This is a rolling membership but you can cancel at any time if you wish to discontinue.

I’m all about saving some money, so I organized a discount just for you! When you’re ready to get your first KnitCrate, you’ll save 20% off your first one when you enter the code LTBLOGGED20 at checkout!

Enjoy the rest of your day!
