OOAK WOODEN CROCHET HOOKS

Greetings to all! I am Sakis from ArtStreet52@Team. In this video you can see how i turn wood into crochet hook. Every hook is unique, made from different wood with different style. The wood i use in this hook is: Common Name: Utile, Sipo, Sipo Mahogany Scientific Name: Entandrophragma utile Distribution: West and Central Africa The piece is finished with natural beeswax and vegetable oil.

All of the hooks are made in collaboration with Artstreet 52, a Greek team featuring unique handmade wooden artifacts and pieces. All of the hooks released are OOAK and made using both exotic and domestic hand selected woods. Each hook is individually hand turned and shaped so it has an ergonomic handle to fit nicely in the hand. The hook is lightweight and smooth and features a detailed designed crown at the top.
