NO-BAKE CHOCOLATE BERRY TART

I am very into baking lately! My

Pinterest

is currently overflowing with all those delicious

recipes

and to be honest I want to try them all!

I love berries; all of them! A no-bake tart overflowing with brightly colored berries seemed perfect for this time of year. This is my first time making a no-bake dessert and I must say I am hooked! It’s easy and so delicious!

The tart base is made using oats, and medjool dates! The chocolate ganache is made using coconut milk and chocolate! So simple! Then you simply top off with berries; both fresh and/or frozen berries will work for this recipe!

Line your pan with parchment paper, press the oat & date crust into the bottom of the pan. Fill with chocolate ganache, and place in the fridge for at least 6 hours! That's it! It’s simple and really delicious!

This healthy chocolate berry tart is the perfect dessert to make!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup old fashioned oats

  • 1 cup (10-15) medjool dates

  • 1/2 cups (120 ml) canned full-fat coconut milk

  • 140 gr bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped

  • 1-2 cups frozen or fresh berries

Instructions

Crust: Place oats, dates and salt in a food processor/blender, and blend until course. Line a round 8×8 or 9×9 pan or spring foam pan with parchment paper. Add the oat crust to the pan and gently press against the bottom and around the corners, filling in as evenly as possible. Chocolate ganache: Place finely chopped chocolate in a large bowl. In a small saucepan, bring coconut milk to a boil. Pour hot coconut milk over chocolate and stir until smooth and creamy. Pour warm chocolate mixture into cooled tart shell.
