Raise your hand if you like texture? I know I definitely do! Textured stitches are simply the best, which is why today I'm sharing this tutorial on creating the Wavy Rib Stitch. It's such a fun stitch so I hope you enjoy it too!

This stitch is worked on multiples of 6 + 2.

For this sample I casted on 32 stitches using the Long Tail Cast On.

Pattern

Row 1 (RS) : *P2, K4* ; rep from * to last 2 sts, P2

Row 2 : K2, *P4, K2* ; rep from * to end

Row 3 : As Row 1

Row 4 : As Row 2

Row 5 : As Row 1

Row 6 : As Row 2 

Row 7 : *K3, P2, K1* ; rep from * to last 2 sts, K2 

Row 8 : P2, *P1, K2, P3* ; rep from * to end 

Row 9 : As Row 7

Row 10 : As Row 8

Row 11 : As Row 7

Row 12 : As Row 8

Repeat Rows 1-12 until you reach your desired length. After a number of repeats your piece will start to look like this.
