FINISHED ACER CROCHET SHAWL

I love the colder weather as much as I love layering up! When I saw this amazing shawl by Joanne Scrace

I was literally head over heels and started thinking about which yarn to use and if I would make it colorful or just in one color!

I had a few skeins of the recycled Billie Jeanyarn from Wool and the Gang and immediately the lovely combo, Joanne's shawl and the amazing jeans yarn where united!

The construction is pretty straighforward and works up really quickly! If you are looking for a fun pattern, easy and fun to make then I definitely recommend you try out the Acer shawl pattern

It makes a lovely triangular shawl, I always wear mine as a bandana shawl as I really like my neck to be warm, but it can be worn on the shoulders as well so as to keep you cozy through out the colder afternoons when sitting on the sofa! It would also make a lovely gift to your friend now that the holidays are approaching!

Regarding the yarn, the pattern can be worked with a lighweight yarn or even a worsted yarn! As said, it is really versatile! I went with the lovely recycled yarn from Wool and the Gang

in Raw Denim! It is made of 100% Upcycled Denim, so if you looking into vegan yarn choices, this might be a lovely option for you to try out! The colors available are Raw Denim (seen here), Dirty Denim and Washed out Denim!
