{Crochet Cake}

At the end of the month I will be participating in a local craft fair and I thought it would be nice to have some treats for my friends there! So I thought of making a crochet strawberry vanilla cake to treat everybody! :)

MATERIALS:
  • Small amounts of yarn in various colors
  • 3mm crochet hook
  • Pom poms for decoration
  • Yarn needle
  • Fiberfill
  • Stitch marker (optional)
THE PATTERN
*To change colors, crochet to the last stitch on the row. Start the last stitch by inserting the hook into the chain from the previous row and pulling a loop through.
Now, with the new color, finish the single crochet by bringing a loop through the 2 stitches on the hook.

The cake is crocheted in five pieces and then sewed together.
