When  I first saw Stefanie's elephant pattern I knew I had to try it! I thought it would be nice to make a boy and a girl version of the cute elephants, exactly how Stefanie did!

The pattern is really easy to follow as it is almost crocheted in one piece with almost no attaching required! I finished one elephant within an afternoon so it is a pretty fast project to work on and would make a lovely and fun afternoon or even weekend project!

I used  DK yarn in dark grey for the boy version and a soft pastel pink color for the girl version!

I used a 3 mm hook for the elephants and 10mm toy eyes!

I really liked the fabric lining  touch -I used a floral fabric I had lying around to attach to the inner part of the ears of the girl version!
