{Summer Necklace - TUTORIAL}

Summer is on it's way, soon we are all going to hit the beaches. In Greece summers tend to be extremely hot reaching even 40 degrees. Yeah, that's hot!!!
I thought of creating a simple tutorial for a summer necklace,  I made last year!
It's really simple and fun!!!

The materials are not hard to find, just hit the beach and start searching for sea shells or just go and find the shells you have collected from summer vacations :), the size does not really matter! The sea shells I found were all a bit broken ( you can see what I mean in the first picture) and were ideal to be attached, but don't worry if you don't find broken ones, you could create some holes in yours with a dremel tool!

You will have to cut 3 strands of the sisal rope - or any rope you would like to use- measuring altogether 90 cm or 35.4 inches.

So here goes....

  1. This is such a cute idea. I'm always picking shells/stones up off the beach to try to remember the occasion. But I always end up getting rid of them, no one wants a drawer full of shells! But this would be a really good way of remembering a special trip :)
