FREE AMIGURUMI RUDOLPH MOD FOR KOKESHI DOLLS

Since October flew by in a flash I am not ashamed to admit that I am already contemplating putting up Christmas decorations. I don’t think I can wait much longer!

To keep my Christmas mood going strong I am so excited to share this project with you! I created a Rudoplh Mod Kit for the Kokeshi Dolls! If you're looking for a fun craft this season, get your hooks and make a few Kokeshi Rudoplhs!

Materials
- Basic Kokeshi Doll Pattern (Etsy/Ravelry)-30% off [use code XMASKOKESHI (valid until 20/11)]
- 2.5mm (US 1/B) crochet hook
- yarn in Camel or Light Brown, Brown  and Red (I used Catania Schachenmayr 179 , 162 & 115)
- tapestry needle

Instructions
Work as for Basic Kokeshi Doll, alternating color of dress and omitting hair bun.

Small Antler x2

Make a Magic Ring
Rnd 1: 4 sc in Magic Ring [4]

Sew small antlers to sides of large antler. Sew both antlers on Rudolph Hat and sew onto Kokeshi Head (see pictures for reference).

Scarf
With red yarn ch 35
Row 1: hdc in 2nd ch from hook, and  in each ch across [34]
Fasten off and weave in any remaining ends. If you want the scarf longer just adjust your starting chain.

Add facial features as in Basic Kokeshi Doll. Using red thread embroider a red nose (just work a few straight stitches) between the eyes (see pictures for reference).
If desired make a long chain and sew on top of Rudolph hat in order to hang your Kokeshi up on the tree or even use as a keychain!
I hope you enjoy this pattern. If you decide to make your own Rudolph Kokeshi Doll please tag me on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and use #littlethingsblogged so that I can see!
