CLOSED:Knit Pro Interchangeable Circular Needles Review & Giveaway

Hey everyone!
Today I am sharing my views on these Knit Pro Interchangeable Circular Needles Set! If you're into knitting you have definitely tried knitting with circular needles and if still haven't tried them out you should definitely give it a go! Personally I find that knitting with circular needles is so much fun!

These Japanese Bamboo Knit Pro needles come in a front flap see-through case which contains 5 needle sets in the following sizes: 3.00 (US 3), 3.50 (US 4), 4.00 (US 6), 4.50 (US 7),  and 5.00 mm (US 8).
The set also includes 3 different cable sizes, 60 (24''), 80 (30") and 100 cm (40"), as well as some notions and accessories as, 6 end caps, 3 cable keys and a set of cable connectors!
I've spent the last days working with these and I found that apart from being super versatile to use, the tips are really nice and pointy and do not hurt at all when you use your finger to guide your needle back! The bamboo does really feel smooth and easygoing plus it has a nice grip for easy knitting!
The cables are also really pleasing and really flexible! First of all there are three sizes included, allowing you to choose which to use according to your project! The set also includes the necessary cable key to tighten your needle, so as not to come undone and lose any stitches ( I have not experienced something like this so far, but it definitely sounds horrendous!) Once you've joined your needles you won't feel the join at all, allowing you to work easily!
To sum up, the pros of the Knit Pro Interchangeable Circular Needles Set are: the bamboo is lovely, smooth enough for easy knitting! The cables are really nice and very flexible and allow a smooth join! The front flap case is see-through allowing an easy storage solution combined with organization, plus it is really easy to throw in your bag or even use it as a travel kit! Also the set includes all the necessary notions, accessories and 3 various cables to start knitting immediately! A real cost-effective solution when it comes to circular needles!
Also the Knit Pro Interchangeable Circular Needles Set comes in three lovely packages to choose from, Starter (Set of 5 pairs of needles & accessories), Deluxe (Set of 10 pairs of needles & accessories) and Chunky (Set of 5 pairs of needles & accessories)!

The cons are that I'd like  the set to include a 40 cm (16'') cable size to handle smaller circumferences, but other than that I am really satisfied with the needles and I have been using these quite a lot lately!

The  good news is, that I’m giving away a full set of these Knit Pro Interchangeable Circular Needles (Starter Pack) for you to try out and start knitting in the round (If you've never tried it, you definitely should!)
All you have to do for your chance to win is to leave a comment on this blog post, saying what you would make with your needles, and if you’ll use this set as a travel kit (I definitely will!). I’m also happy to ship everywhere, so this giveaway is open to readers worldwide!
Good luck everyone; I’ll draw a winner next week!
Enjoy the rest of your day!

UPDATE: 2/4 Congratulations kalianapodi! You are the winner of the Knit Pro Interchangeable Circular Needles Giveaway! Thank you so much to everyone who entered. I will send you an email with details about your prize soon!

  11. The fact that you can choose between the different cable sizes is an absolute pro! I would love to make some beanies I have in mind for a long time now and haven't started yet, because I don't have the right needles! Haha! And this kit is definitely one to travel with! Aaah! Fingers crossed! Happy giveaway! Bisous!

  12. What a beautiful and also practical kit!!! I would love to use it while travelling with the train from the one side of the country to the other and make something that I have never work on before! Thank you!

  13. Oh, oh, oh! I would use it for most of my projects, knitted in round or not!
My chaotic nature doesn't let me use straight needles or (God forbid!) DPNs. I usually end up one needle short.
And that's also why I would NEVER EVER use it as a travel kit, because I could lose it somewhere. What I would do however is to sit with it, safely wrapped in blanket and knit the evening away! :3

  14. OH I would use these for EVERYTHING. I am addicted to circulars but my current set are cheap and cumbersome. With a set of KnitPros I would be SET..!

  15. I've got some projects in my to knit line, one of them is a sweater in mint with a white pattern on the yoke. Since an interchangeable needle set takes in so little room, it's the perfect compagnon to take on travels. Or the bus. Or the subway. Or the train. Oh all these possibilities! Thanks for the opportunity to win a set!

  16. Oh wow, i want to learn to knit circular, for socks, cardigans etc!

  17. This giveaway is one of the greatest I've seen lately. You can use these needles over and over again for such great projects. I just ordered some new yarn for a baby blanket so these needles would be wonderful. A pair of socks is also on my to do list for a while now. Fingers crossed!! Thank you.

  19. Oooh these are so nice looking! There is a sweater pattern I've had my eye on that the 4.50 and 5.00 circulars would be perfect as the circulars I currently have are cheap and not that great to work with.

  20. These are so beautiful and extremely useful! I think I would use them all the time, traveling or not. And I'd use them to make almost everything! Hats, cowls, coffee mug cozies, afgans, fingerless gloves (especially), and anything else I fancy to create! :) knitting is becoming my new favorite and I think it's so nice that you are giving these away! :)

  26. I love circulars, my cat doesn't attack me like she does when I use straight needles so I tend to use circulars even when not knitting in the round! I think my first project would likely be a hat as I have a goal to make a few over the next little bit... my dad, my son and a few of his friends will be shaving their heads to fundraise for childhood cancers and I don't want their heads to be cold after!! Thank you for the chance!

  75. Wow, what a generous give away! If I could be so lucky... I am always knitting something: for my dolls of course, but also (rasta-) hats of my own design (I like to experiment), anything! Whenever we go travelling (maybe just to visit family but also when we go on holidays), my husband drives the car while I make my creations.. Thanks for the change, Tanya!

  76. I have been wanting an interchangeable needle set for a while. I hate looking through all my needles to find the right needle size with the right cable length. If I had a kit like this I would use it all the time so that I wouldn't have to try to find the right needle all the time! Thank you for the great giveaway!

  79. What a nice concept! I am precisely knitting a beanie for my boyfriend with a circular needle but the one I have is not very practical so I'd love to try these! I would of course use them to finish the aforementionned beanie, and then I'll probably make a pair of mittens for myself, since i lost the ones I knitted... And OF COURSE I would carry this kit with me when travelling! I have regular business trips and I always bring my knitting in the train!

  80. I have read that bamboo needles are easier on arthritic hands and I have rheumatoid arthritis so I would love to try these babies!!
