Crochet Mood Blanket Progress

I love everything about this blanket!

I love the way this blanket is turning out! I love the idea of making a different square every day! I love making blankets! I am currently growing into another addiction! That of blanket making! Believe it or not I have already decided on my next one! Haha!

I have been making my squares every day! Honestly speaking I have not been joining them every day but I have decided that when I don't have time to join the squares to the rest of the blanket I will be doing this during the weekend!

Anyhow, I wanted to share a few photos of my progress so far. I love how the colors look together! I think I will make it around 12 x 14 squares but I still have not made up my mind as I want it to be really big!:) I am so glad I finally decided to start a blanket and participate in the crochet mood blanket 2014 project!

Also Monica from MonMakesThings created a blog post regarding the crochet mood blanket project and has an assortment of inspiring yet beautiful coming along blankets of other people involved! Go check it out here!
How are your projects coming along? Have a wonderful day!

  2. Oh it's so pretty; I love your colour choices. I'm doing a sky blanket this year (http://www.knitmeacake.com/2014/01/21/skyblanket-sewing-the-squares-together/) and I totally get what you mean about how fun it is to knit a square each day. Looking forward to seeing how it comes together. Leanne (@knitmeacake) x

  7. Your blanket is coming along nicely - I do like your choice of colours - I am very new to the world of hooky as I only started last year and the very first thing I made was a blanket. It took such a long time but was so worth the effort.

  8. Lovely squares! I'm working on a blanket/cover for a single bed at the moment but I don't know when to stop as I don't have a single bed to try it on! this could be huge!!!

    1. Haha! Perhaps you could go with the standard measurements? Otherwise you could make it for a double bed!!😀
